Kenneth Brown a Native of Sanford, Florida has lived in Tallahassee for 20 years. He graduated from Florida A&M University in 2003 with a B.S. in Health-Care Administration. He has also been an Elementary and Middle School teacher for more than 10 years in the Leon County Area.
Kenneth is currently our Counselor Intern who is earning his M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in which his anticipated Graduation Date is December 14, 2018. Kenneth is passionate about educating and empowering individuals to meet their everyday needs. He is persistent in helping individuals overcome obstacles holistically through a Wellness Method. Using Clinically tested and evidenced based interventions, Kenneth has worked with many individuals on a mental and spiritual level. Kenneth specializes in personal-spiritual growth, overcoming depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. His theoretical approach is integrative based using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Rational Emotion Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
