Ari Mazer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) originally from Atlanta, GA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia. Ari uses an eclectic approach to psychotherapy drawing on methods from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities – both scientific and humanistic. Ari began his career working with individuals with severe and profound developmental disabilities at the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta, GA. Since then, he has expanded his clinical experience with a variety of positions in outpatient, inpatient, and long-term residential settings. In addition to behavior modification and behavior analysis, Ari has experience implementing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) interventions, as well as other mindfulness-based approaches to help individuals adjust and cope with trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Ari uses a flexible, person-centered approach to tailor mental health treatment to the unique needs of each client, in order to empower individuals to create the changes they want for themselves and their families.
